Laneway Café

We took an overnight ferry from Melbourne to Tasmania, and after we disembarked at about 7 a.m. this morning, we picked up our rental car decided to find breakfast. My husband chose the Laneway Café, which turned out to be an excellent choice.

I had the North African Spiced Beans: smoky spiced tomato
sauce beans with fried eggs, tahini yogurt, spring onions,
harissa paste, preserved lemon, and sourdough toast.
I also had a side order of chipolata sausages.
Meanwhile, my husband had the Farmers "Mess": a rustic
omelette with potato, mushroom, roast red capsicum, cheddar,
spinach, on rye toast, with thick-cut bacon.
