Joe's Crab Shack

Nothing like going out for dinner Friday night at a place that has lobster bibs for one's high dining standards.

At least, that's what I was thinking as the waitress tied paper bibs onto my husband and me. (Mine said, "My date gave me crabs." My husband's said, "<---- I'm with crabby.")

Nevertheless, after a long meeting with our newly found financial advisor that got us home a bit on the late side, my husband offered to take me out to dinner, and suggested Joe's Crab Shack, so off we went. It turned out to be a great choice; I had never been to this place before, and I had been in the mood for seafood.

We started with the crab nachos, which were fantastic.

It's hard to tell from this particular photo, but I ordered the Arctic Bay Steampot, which came with Queen crab, shrimp, a whole split lobster, and sausage, steamed in a garlic bath and topped with Old Bay seasoning. (It also came with an ear of corn.) Really good stuff!
