Olympia Restaurant

This morning was the aforementioned Greek Orthodox baptism for my husband's cousin's baby boy, who really was quite adorable. He was really well-behaved, except for the obligatory bawling when he was slathered in chrism and dunked (completely naked) into the baptismal font, when he wailed. Afterwards, the whole lot of us went to the New Olympia Restaurant.

There were appetizers on the table - pita, shrimp, feta, olives, and calamari - before the salad came.

We were given the choice of chicken or lamb, but everyone at the table ordered the lamb, which was really tender and delicious.

These were crumbly cookies that were served after dinner, but before dessert.

We were given the choice of baklava, rice pudding, or a type of custard for dessert, but...baklava!
