Saffron Valley

One of the trainers at the gym I go to regularly told me about a really good Indian restaurant that she and her husband had gone to: Saffron Valley. My husband and I decided to try to it out, so we drove on over after Mass tonight.

We ordered two breads: This one is the Aloo Paratha
(whole wheat flatbread with lightly spiced potatoes
and green peas).

We also tried the garlic cheese naan,
which was amazing.

I got the lamb saag, which was very delicious
(and one of my favorite dishes).

This place doesn't have appetizers, but we ordered the
Saffron Platter as one (and it came out as we were eating
our curries); it included an assortment of kebabs,
including shrimp, seasoned fish, and four chicken kebabs
(nawabi, hariyali, malai, and tikka).
It also came with a mushroom soup.
