Plaza Mexicana

A teacher friend had recommended Plaza Mexicana, saying that it was the best Mexican food he'd had outside California. I will have to say that this was likely the best Mexican food I've ever had: seasonings were just right, but not overpowering; everything was fantastic.

We were given chips, salsa, and slaw.

I started with the tortilla soup, which was much more than
I thought.

My husband ordered the baby shrimp quesadilla. 

I ordered tacos pescadora, which were absolutely fantastic.

My husband ordered a chimichanga with chorizo - apparently
also outstanding.
