Carmelite Monastery

September is the season for church fairs, apparently; last weekend we went to two. (The Utah State Fair was also going on - not a church fair - but we skipped it this year. Too many fairs going on the same weekend!) Today, the Carmelite Monastery of Salt Lake City was having their annual fund-raising fair, so my husband and I drove over to partake.

We headed straight for the food stands, where we both had a Basque chorizo sausage.

And my husband was able to satisfy his need for cotton candy.
