IKEA

We seem to have done a lot of shopping this weekend, yesterday acquiring a new cell phone for my husband, a new laptop for me, and window shopping at the local Crate and Barrel. After our foray into the Carmelite Monastery this afternoon, my husband suggested we head to IKEA to check out couches and dining room tables, since our couch needs to be replaced altogether, and we'd like a dining room table that can seat more than four people comfortably (or six really skinny people).

I have never in my life had Swedish meatballs at an IKEA. I don't know why. There's no good reason for this. I like meatballs. I like IKEA. I even like Sweden, Swedish people, and the Swedish chef. I have even been to Sweden, where I ate approximately half the herring in the country. Despite having had (a light) lunch, I decided I needed to rectify not having had IKEA meatballs, which came with gravy, mashed potatoes, and lingonberries.

I also tried their organic mushroom-stuffed crepes, and a roll.
(I expect to be too full for dinner tonight.)
