(The traditional gifts for the second year of marriage is cotton; the modern gift is china. We went out for Chinese food. Get it?) :-)
I started with won ton soup. |
We ordered two dim sum platters as appetizers. This was the steamed dim sum platter, which included jumbo shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, scallop dumplings, and crab meat dumplings. |
The fried dim sum platter included fried shrimp balls, pan fried pot stickers, egg rolls, and silver-wrapped chicken. |
I ordered a whole Peking duck, which came on two plates. This plate was just the skin. (It was also served with green onions.) |
The rest of the duck was served on a second plate. (It also came with hoisin sauce.) |
I don't know what these are called, but the duck was served with these; they were steamed, and one put the duck, green onions, and hoisin sauce inside. Quite tasty! |
