Sakana Sushi Bar & Japanese Grill

This past week was the last week of classes for the semester at the community college where I teach English, and it felt like I was up to my eyeballs in grading (only marginally metaphorically speaking). A few semesters ago I had decreed to my husband that at the end of each semester, I'd like to go out for dinner to celebrate said completion, so tonight after church we went to Sakana Sushi Bar.

We ordered two appetizers, the first of which was the
calamari tempura. Really excellent!

Our second appetizer was the pork gyoza - also good.
We'd ordered three different nigiri; this is the Maguro (tuna).
smoked sake nigiri (smoked salmon)
unagi nigiri (eel)

the shrimp tempura roll and the spider roll
This is where I begin to lose track of which roll was which.
I believe this was the New York roll.
the Vegas roll (bottom) and the Funky roll
