My husband and I tried a new restaurant tonight: The Best Wok Sushi Bar, which serves both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. It's only recently opened, so we thought we'd give it a try. We were glad we went, although we weren't sure we'd want to go back; the service was very good, but the food didn't blow us away - a different local restaurant serves better sushi, we feel, and another has a better selection of Chinese food.

My husband had the sashimi salad. |

We shared an order of fish tempura. |

the Best Wok roll (spicy salmon, shrimp tempura, cream
cheese, avocado, eel, crabmeat, masago) |
the Godzilla roll
(shrimp tempura, crabmeat, toped with eel and avocado) |
the tsunami roll (fried scallop, cramped, topped
with tuna, salmon, masago, and lemon) |
the Boston roll (baby lobster, avocado, topped with albacore tuna) |
tuna roll |
eel nigiri |
spicy crawfish nigiri
(this didn't really work too well; it was dry) |
