The Oliver St. John Gogarty Bar

Tonight was our last night in Dublin (in fact, it's our last night in Ireland altogether), so when my husband and I discovered that The Auld Dubliner serves traditional Irish fare, and has live music pretty much all day every day, we knew it was a good way to end our stay. (Ed especially had wanted to hear some traditional live Irish music at a pub, something we had previously failed to do.)

However, we din't actually wind up staying at The Auld Dubliner; the music being played was rather loud and a bit more contemporary than what was wanted, so we went next door to The Oliver St. John Gogarty Bar.

I started with some smoked salmon.
I also tried to Dublin Coddle, which was a type of stew with
sausage, potato, carrot, and barley.
And I ended with some strawberries and cream.
