Taste Culinary Boutique is a local retail shop that sells kitchen gadgets and food items, and offers cooking demonstrations. My husband being out of town overnight to take care of his late mother's estate meant that I had a free evening (I was unable to go with him), so I signed up for the Greek Dinner cooking demo. Although I didn't get to help out in the kitchen, I did get to sample what was cooked - and I got to take home the recipes, too!
We started with the Horiatiki Salad (Greek Village Salad).
Then we sampled Keftethes (Greek meatballs).
We then moved on to the Kampana (Greek chicken pot roast)
and spaghetti with browned butter sauce.
And for dessert, Rizogalo (rice pudding).
