Kneader's Bakery & Cafe

Today was a busy day: My husband and I got what another shipment of household items from my mother-in-law's house; we went through and cleared out a closet in the guest bedroom that for over a year had been full of childhood mementos; we dropped of what seems like half our things at the local donation center; we went to Mass; and on our way home from Mass we took a lot of cardboard box remnants to the recycling center before stopping off at Target to buy some more storage containers.

After all this cleaning and organizing, and considering the stops we'd be making after Mass, I didn't quite feel like cooking dinner tonight, nor was I sure what time we'd even get home. I convinced my husband (which wasn't hard) to stop off at Kneader's Baker & Cafe.

I tried the corn chowder with poblano soup, which a tiny bit sweet with a bit of a kick.

The sandwich was excellent: turkey bacon avocado on focaccia, which came with Kneaders sauce and red onion (I requested American instead of provolone, no tomato or lettuce, and they offered to grill it for me, which I took them up on).
