One of my husband's college friends is moving, along with his wife and toddler, from Minnesota to California to move in with and assist his aging, ailing mother; the wife's sister and brother-in-law were helping them with the 2,000-mile drive. We'd hoped to meet up with them for dinner last night, then breakfast this morning, but as these things often go, schedules are fallen behind (especially with a toddler in tow), so we met up with them at the Red Iguana for a mid-afternoon meal.
I started with the truly fantastic bay shrimp quesadilla, which had whole shrimps and big shrimp pieces in it:
I then had the Red Iguana combination platter, which included a cheese enchilada, a Taco a la Iguana (delish!), a beef flauta, a chile relleno, and a beef tostada.
