Texas Roadhouse

My husband and I had grand plans for tonight; after a day of cleaning and throwing things out, we were going to go Mass, then head out for dinner and go see Skyfall. Well, the first two places we tried to go to dinner weren't open, so, thanks to Yelp, we decided to go to Texas Roadhouse.

It turned out to be a great decision, despite the 35-minute wait; the staff were attentive and quick to notice when something was needed; our waitress told the manager that this was our (well, my) first visit, so he appeared with a sample of ribs, which were pretty darn good. (I generally prefer a dry rub on my ribs, but the meat was very well done.)

I got a very good Caesar salad to start with.

And I had a bacon cheeseburger, which itself was a bit dry (I asked for medium well, and it got well-done; I also asked for no lettuce or tomato, and instead I got lettuce and no onion.) But the steak fries were good.

We were so full after dinner, that we decided to skip the movie. Which didn't upset me too much, to be honest.
